traditions

Well the first official Moore Family Conference Weekend was a success!!

Now that we have our own little family,
its fun to start making our own traditions.

Growing up we always ate cinnamon rolls while watching conference,
but since I don't know how to make those I decided to try something new.
Something that would be "our" thing....
Biscuits and Gravy.
I'm very happy to say that my southern boy was happy,
and so was I.

Moore Family Tradition #1

Between conference sessions I somehow convinced Brandon that it would be a good idea to hike the
Y
It seemed like a good idea at the time...

This picture was taken half-way up the mountain.
I wish I could say that we had planned on it being the most unattractive picture ever,
however we were tired, the sun was in our eyes, and it was 150 degrees!
(darn altitude)

Well we finally made it, hence the smiles on our faces!!
I actually heard Brandon say that he was glad we did that!
(say what??)

Moore Family Tradition #2...well maybe?

PS: Conference was amazing!! Loved the talks. Love the Prophet. Loved it all.

Biscuits and gravy sounds so good...not so sure about climbing the Y...never have done it...maybe after I get my other knee done. Wasn't conference great?

I love hiking the Y, except it always ends up being harder that I remembered. I did it for a date once, I am sure I was super attractive!

Love this tradition! You'll have to teach me how to make biscuits and gravy, sounds yum.
