date night

Date night this week

was at a little place called

The Counter.

Its a restaurant that  

 lets you put anything you want on a burger.

We're pretty sure 

they have one heaven.

Brandon hasn't smiled like this 

since our wedding!

(or any time i've cooked for him)

We enjoyed our delicious burgers,

(I ate all of mine)

and then spent a quiet evening at home watching
Friday Night Lights!

(quickly changed into loose elastic pants)


Life is so good!

the help

I saw a preview for this...

and I literally started cheering!

I'm going to ask (make) Brandon pretend like 

he's one of my sisters and go see it with me.

 Then afterward we'll discuss all our feelings

about every single moment of the movie.

While eating.

He's going to love it!

the zoo

It turns out we're Zoo people!!

This came as quite a shock considering neither of us really like animals.

However if they're caged and someone else is taking care of them

we're huge fans!

My favorite of the day: the elephants

they're huge,

beautiful,

and they eat everything in site!

Brandon's least favorite of the day: 

ALL monkeys 

He thinks they act too much like humans.

One monkey sat down to read a book and he almost lost it.

(it was hysterical)

We ended the day at the beautiful Oakland Temple.

The view from the temple is completely breathtaking.

It overlooks Oakland and the San Francisco Bay.

Its amazing and I could've stayed there all day.

(audible sigh)

Harry Potter

 Sometimes I make Brandon do embarrassing things!

(but secretly he loves it)

Our Friday evening was spent

waiting...waiting...and...waiting

to see the final Harry Potter!

We both give it 2 thumbs up,

and are thrilled and relieved that 

Hogwarts is safe again!!

San Fran

We took our first trip to San Fransisco last week

and had a wonderful time!

We spent the day eating, shopping

and riding public transportation.

4 weeks ago today

 I became Mrs. Moore....

and I haven't stopped smiling since!

our first adventure

Our first few weeks of marriage have been busy,

but wonderful!! 

we had an amazing honeymoon in Maui....pics to come!!

one short night in utah,

and then we headed west to our new home in 

Sunnyvale California!!!

We live here because this cute guy 

snagged an internship with 

the BIG apple!

(so smart)

Our first two weeks were spent getting our 

lovely apartment in order. 

(boring)

So finally on Saturday we decided to head out

on our first California adventure!!

 our first stop was 

a little place we like to call

google.

ever heard of it?

 google is awesome because

they have yellow bikes for the 

employees to ride from building to building!

we just used them to make the security guard mad

(mission accomplished)

google is also awesome

because they have giant baked goods on their front lawn.

(genius)

(stealing that idea, google)

humungous desserts...

every girl's dream!

our next stop was 

Palo Alto! 

(love it)

We visited Stanford

and Facebook headquarters.

we stopped for some awesome

 tacos at Wahoos!

and continued on our way!

 our last (favorite) stop

was Half Moon Bay

Half Moon Bay is this cute little town on the coast,

and I love it!!

we had lots of fun

watching the waves...

and the sea lions!!!

I can't wait to go back.
