gratitude

This week I am grateful for....

* The BYU indoor track- visiting this joyous place a few times a week allows me
to attempt to work off the damage that eating for two has done.

* friends- this weekend I hung out with my old roommates.
It was so fun getting together with these girls to eat, laugh, and reminisce on the good old days!

*Pinterest recipes- thank goodness Pinterest has delicious easy recipes even a lazy pregnant lady can make, otherwise Brandon would be a very hungry man.

and

* Date Night- even though Brandon works hard all week
he always makes time to take me out on a date!

morning

Early this morning Brandon felt the baby move
for the first time!

Talk about an excited Dad!

Sometimes I think he forgets that there's actually a person in my growing belly.

She must be a daddy's girl.
The more he talked, the more she moved.

Gratitude

Today I am grateful for....

* Lazy Saturdays- A day when Brandon and I can just hang out together!

* Snow- I can't believe i'm saying this but I was actually a little happy to wake up to some snow on the mountains. As much as I think I don't like snow, I know i'll miss it when we move to California.

* My Dad- He is the kindest, happiest,  most humble (this post will embarrass him) and spiritual man
I have ever known.

* Brandon- I had the flu this week and he took such good care of me. He left school early...when I know he had work to do. He went to the store, cleaned, and even watched some Gilmore Girls with me.

*Answered Prayers

thoughts

some random thoughts I had this week....

* I think every woman (and man) should own a pair of maternity pants. Keep them around for when you're having a "fat" day. You don't need to tell anyone, just slip em on and enjoy a zipper free life.

* No matter the time of day or what's going on in the world...sadly,
there is always a Kardashian on TV.

*You know its true love when he offers to hold your hair while you're throwing up.

*I'm not sure its a good idea for me to watch anymore birthing shows and documentaries.
They just give me ideas of things to worry about. Plus no one wants to see Ricki Lake give birth.

*I crave potatoes 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
You're welcome Idaho.

* Brandon has a crush on 2 men right now,
one, Mitt Romney and two, Bear Grylls.
Good thing we're having a girl because Mitt Moore doesn't sound too good.

* Some nights when I can't sleep, I want to wake Brandon up just to tell him that I can't sleep.
I don't...but I want to.

* I currently feel that Tums are the greatest invention
EVER

* I get really annoyed when I'm playing Words With Friends
and my opponent is taking a really long time to play their word.

* No matter how old I get, I think i'll always call my mom when i'm sick.
She always knows what to do.

The End.

Gratitude

Grateful Sunday

One of my goals for the new year
was to (try) to do a gratitude blog every Sunday.
Church doesn't start til 1:00 this year,
which means i'll have lots of time...and no excuses.

* My Wonderful Husband- marrying him was by far the best decision I have ever made.
He makes life good.

*the Temple- We went to the Temple for our date night this week
and I just sat there thinking of my little girl,
wondering what she's going to look like, and if she'll have Brandon's perfect nose.

*I finally found a job- I had been looking for the right job for a while now,
and one day I randomly looked at craigslist and found exactly what I had been looking for.
I start next week and am beyond thrilled!

*the righteous women in my life- my mom, mother in-law, sisters, and sisters in-law.
i'm grateful for their examples and how they constantly teach me how to
be a better wife, daughter, sister, mother, friend and woman in the gospel.

* my baby- I felt her move this week, and it was awesome!
It made all the sickness, weight gain, and sleepless nights
worth it.
I like to think of it as her little way of saying hello,
maybe cheering me on.

pink

We're seeing pink.
and turquoise.
and yellow.
and leopard.

Basically, I haven't stopped thinking about baby clothes
since we found out about our little
princess.

Sometimes I just go to Baby Gap and imagine my little girl in all those cute outfits,
and then I remember that Brandon is still in school,
 and that we're poor.
(sigh)
So then I go to Target.

In other news...
My belly is starting to look a little more pregnant
and a little less fat,
which means I am now on the hunt for cute maternity pants.

Wish me luck!

colorado

The day after Christmas we headed to the annual
Moore Family Ski trip
in Colorado.

Sadly I was not able to participate in the skiing.
Dr's orders.
It turns our when you're pregnant and accident prone
they recommend avoid speeding down steep mountains!
(weird)

So each morning I sent the boys off
and then relaxed in the condo with a good book
and a Fresh Prince of Bel Air marathon.

I love ski trips!

Brandon got lots of baby practice with cute little Camdyn

like father,
                                                          like son

at the hot springs

out on the slopes

snuggling in the condo

The whole gang!
(yes that's me in the middle ruining the only family picture. nice,)

Don't worry,
next year i'll show them just how well I can
ski (roll) down the bunny hill!

Christmas

This Christmas was a complete success!!

oh and the definition of success is
success: eat lots of delicious food, go see a Christmas movie, make a gingerbread house, sleep whenever you want, shoot a pellet gun, play games, get spoiled with too many gifts, go to amazing restaurants, consume lots of tums, puzzle, play kinect, laugh while watching people play kinect, take pictures with my new cameras, and most importantly surround yourself with the people you love.

a big thanks to my wonderful in-laws
who made my first Christmas away from home
delightful, comfortable, and memorable.
